Blackberry
A real swallower of things, Himalayan blackberry has to be the most widespread noxious weed in Washington. Know that repeat visits will be required to knock it out, and read up on the differences between our native trailing blackberry — the one that trips you up with its long ground-hugging runners — and the invasive Himalayan and cutleaf blackberries. Hint: trailing blackberry has three leaves per leaf cluster and tiny thorns.
