Backyard Forestry in Western Washington from WSU Extension was specifically written for people who live “in the woods” of western Washington, whether it be on 1 acre, 10 acres, or more. It will help you recognize what is living and growing on your property, reduce risks, improve wildlife habitat, and care for your woodland. (24 pages)
Climate Resilience Guide for Small Forest Landowners in Western Washington from the University of Washington and USDA is a terrific guide to understanding the impacts of climate change on forests and steps landowners can take to reduce adverse impacts and increase resilience. (31 pages)
